As a senior accounts payable manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the accounts payable department and team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise the accounts payable team to ensure seamless and timely processing of invoices
- Oversee tax compliance, including GST, TDS, SEZ, DTAA, and other applicable regulations
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments for documentation of foreign remittances
- Coordinate audits, finalize books, and schedule audit dates
- Verify vendor balances and confirm MSME rules
- Stay up-to-date on foreign remittances and policies
- Develop expertise in GST return filing and preparation
- Ensure coordination with banks and HO finance for foreign payments
- Guarantee systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company standards while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile vendor and bank statements
- Verify SAP data for errorless accounting
- Track company financial expenditures, maintain databases, and provide reports as needed
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and monthly payables and vendors' ageing reports
- Assist in preparing audit statements as required
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills
