Asset Liability Management (ALM) Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organization in the Asset Liability Management (ALM) - Risk department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking, with 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Risk Monitoring and Management
    • Monitor liquidity and interest rate risk for the bank, identifying potential concerns and presenting them to senior management.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Reporting
    • Prepare, review, and validate regulatory returns, monitoring ratios against internal and regulatory limits, and provide insight with impact analysis to senior management.
  • Dashboard Preparation and Analysis
    • Prepare the daily liquidity and ALM dashboard to circulate it to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Solution Enhancement and Development
    • Support in enhancing current solutions through testing and/or provide functional inputs in developing new solutions to improve ALM processes.
  • Market and Regulatory Developments
    • Keep abreast with market/regulatory developments and best practices pertaining to ALM/Balance sheet.
  • Liaison and Collaboration
    • Extensive liaison with Treasury, Risk, IT, Finance, and other business units.
  • Balance Sheet Hedging and Process Streamlining
    • Monitoring of balance sheet hedging and streamlining of processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance
    • Maintain confidentiality of information gathered from clients and company's information.
  • Regulatory Policy Adherence
    • Seeking compliance of circulars/guidelines issued by RBI and making changes in policies accordance to the newly issued circulars and guidelines.
  • Commercial Savings and Compliance
    • Driving commercial savings on existing portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Regulatory Policies and Guidelines
    • Adherence to RBI policies and guidelines and liaison with RBI Financial Audit.
