As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and financial success. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of product costing, plant accounting, and management information systems (MIS).

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and controlling Plant Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, variance reports, and cost reduction initiatives. You will also drive monthly and annual financial closures in alignment with corporate goals.

In addition, you will handle product costing (Bill of Materials-based), Cost of Goods Sold/Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGS/COGM), standard vs. actual cost analysis. You will own capital expenditures (capex), resource mobilization (RM), and operating expenditure (opex) budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Another key responsibility will be to drive value engineering and cost optimization & Material Accounting. You will monitor and control plant inventory (raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, spares). You will implement inventory reduction strategies in coordination with production teams.

Furthermore, you will drive SAP-based reporting, automation, and controls (FICO/MM/SD modules). You will identify process improvement opportunities and lead automation/efficiency projects.

You will work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Resources (HR), and Engineering teams. You will provide finance inputs for new product launches, capex proposals, and vendor management.
