Job Title: Experienced Technical Leader

Description

We are seeking an experienced technical leader to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and maintaining complex systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant technical position with hands-on automation knowledge.
  • Comprehensive understanding of DevOps/SRE, IaC, and 12 Factor Principles.
  • Excellent hands-on experience in configuration management, orchestration, and IaC tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
  • Strong understanding of repository and artifact management tools (Red Hat Satellite, Spacewalk, Nexus).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and its ceremonies.
  • Autonomy to manage multiple services and make decisions suitable for the business and customers.
  • Problem-solving skills to prevent recurring issues through automation.
  • Support on-call duties as needed.
  • Conceptual understanding of infrastructure and its components.
  • DNS concepts (authoritative and non-authoritative DNS, dynamic and bind DNS, forwarder).
  • SSL communication principles (handshake, cipher suites, encryption algorithms).
  • Active Directory understanding (security OUs, policies).
  • Certificate management (SAN, client-authentication, keystores, mutual SSL).
  • Load balancers, site selectors, and firewall configurations.
  • Vault tool expertise (Cyberark, Hashicorp).
  • High availability principles.
  • API communication knowledge (REST/Soap) and developing new consumers/publishers.
  • Excellent scripting skills in Groovy, Bash/Powershell, and Python.
  • GITOPS-driven configuration management and deployment.
  • Familiarity with open-source technologies.
  • Team player with quick adaptation to changing contexts.
  • Security awareness and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Strategic thinking with research and development mindset.
  • Adequate project management methodology understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
