We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to head our Credit Analyst team in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving credit analysis processes, managing underwriting pipelines, and ensuring seamless functioning of the credit function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team of analysts, mentoring and training them to ensure adherence to underwriting quality metrics, and overseeing daily underwriting activities. They will also serve as the first point of contact for escalated or complex underwriting scenarios, providing guidance and resolving issues to support smooth loan flow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Credit Analyst team in India and drive credit analysis processes
  • Manage underwriting pipelines and queues to ensure timely movement, balanced workloads, and efficient resource allocation
  • Ensure quality of credit analysis, train and mentor the team to adhere to underwriting quality metrics
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated or complex underwriting scenarios
  • Support and mentor underwriters by providing day-to-day guidance, fostering development, and monitoring team performance

Requirements:
  • PG/Master's degree in finance, economics or a related field
  • Additional financial qualification such as US CFA Level 2+
  • Experience in credit analysis, especially in the real estate industry
  • Leadership experience in managing a small team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
