To spearhead this innovative endeavor, we seek a visionary Founding Backend Engineer. This highly coveted role demands exceptional technical expertise in designing and implementing low-latency APIs and real-time services for instant sends, swaps, and approvals.

  • As a key member of our development team, you will be entrusted with ownership of backend partner integrations and will play a pivotal role in designing a resilient ledger and state machine for money movement.
    • You will oversee the implementation of a sophisticated policy engine for approvals, caps, timelocks, and joint accounts.
      • With your extensive experience, you will ensure that our production systems boast optimal performance, reliability, and observability.

For success in this high-profile position, you will require at least 5 years of experience building scalable backend systems. Proficiency in TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin is essential, alongside expertise in async I/O, queues, retries, state machines, database modeling (Postgres, Redis), and consistency modeling.

A proven track record of owning systems from design to production is crucial. Additionally, working from Hyderabad is required. While not mandatory, experience with crypto custody/MPC, Bitcoin UTXOs, or fintech/payment systems would be greatly advantageous.
