Job Description

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of SCADA Systems Architect. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient SCADA systems that cater to the diverse needs of our clients across various industries.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Ignition SCADA and MES applications, with expertise in system integration, data acquisition, and visualization. Experience in architecting real-time data acquisition and reporting solutions using OPC UA, REST APIs, and MQTT protocols is essential.

Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is also desirable.

As a technical leader, you will be expected to mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing.

The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in SCADA systems design and implementation
  • Expertise in Ignition SCADA and MES applications
  • Hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity
  • Familiarity with database technologies, including SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Proficiency in OTIT integration technologies, including REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms, Azure IoT, or AWS IoT
  • Containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes
