Truesight Expert Position

We are seeking an experienced Truesight expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our TrueSight infrastructure.

Job Description

This position involves working with the Truesight system to monitor and manage IT infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installation, configuration, and administration of Truesight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, upgrade, integration, and administration of Truesight Operations Management
  • Experience in installation of Patrol Agents on Windows, RHEL, AIX, and Solaris OS
  • Familiarity with knowledge modules like DB, Websphere, Exchange, Sentry hardware, and Sentry monitoring studio
  • Troubleshooting skills to resolve Patrol Agent and TrueSight server component issues
  • Knowledge in Event Management policy Administration and configuration
  • Working knowledge of MRLs and custom classes
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Principles of BMC TrueSight Operations Management installation, upgrade, integration, administration, and configuration (especially with version 10.x and later)
  • Good experience in installation of Patrol Agents on Windows, RHEL, AIX, and Solaris OS
  • Basics in working on knowledge modules like DB, Websphere, Exchange, Sentry hardware, and Sentry monitoring studio
  • Good to have working knowledge of custom KMs
  • Troubleshooting skills to resolve Patrol Agent and TrueSight server component issues
  • Knowledge in Event Management policy Administration and configuration
  • Working knowledge of MRLs and custom classes
  • Infrastructure knowledge on Operating System and Database
  • Good communication skills set, Understand and clear communication to the business on impact of major incidents
  • Excellent problem analysis skill set
  • Certification on TrueSight
