Job Summary

The role of a Bankruptcy Specialist is a highly skilled position requiring expertise in data entry, communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry: Onboarding of claimants in a centralized platform and maintaining account documents and files.
  • Claimant Documents Review: Reviewing claimants' bankruptcy legal documents and maintaining account documents and files.
  • Communication: Sending formal notifications, sending and responding to emails, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Escalation Management: Handling communication with external parties to resolve issues in a timely manner without escalation.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Team Mentoring: Overseeing junior team members' work, addressing their queries, mentoring and shadowing them.
  • Process Development: Assisting in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and checklists.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Assisting with other administrative special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Preferably a bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field with 3 years of international experience predominantly working with US clients.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate level Excel skills, proficiency with Outlook, time management, data entry skills and typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Soft Skills: Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to analyze and manage large amounts of data, intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Senior Associate and Team Lead Experience: With knowledge of US bankruptcy law and previous experience in quality control and business analysis.
