Student Admission Executive Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Admission Executive. As a key member of the Admissions team and UEA Global team, you will be responsible for delivering faster turnaround, application processing, compliance, and credibility checks to various stakeholders, including applicants and partner agents.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receiving applications and documents from students/agents on Salesforce, reviewing applications, transcripts, and other documents required for international student admissions, evaluating academic and English credentials to determine admissibility to university programs, making decisions.
  • Contacting applicants for pending documents, checking eligibility, validating documents, uploading, and revising offers.
  • Checking the authenticity of academic documents, English, and letters of recommendation.
  • Administrative Support: supporting the admissions team and UEA global team with pre-arrival registrations, establishing contact with students for timely arrivals, reviewing and coordinating mailboxes and uploading documentation daily, responding to email inquiries, participating in weekly staff meetings.
  • Credibility interviews of applicants before and/or after receipt of initial deposits in certain cases and markets, verifying with banks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Recent experience in admissions and documentation.
  • Experience in Higher Education environments.
  • UK study experience.
  • Experience with university student records systems, such as SITS, Salesforce, and higher education is desirable.

Benefits and Working Conditions

  • Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 10am-6pm; however, during busy periods, evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Role holders are expected to undertake other appropriate duties as requested by management.
