Executive Fundraising Leader

The organization seeks a highly skilled Executive to lead its fundraising efforts, focusing on delivering predictable and diversified funding while strengthening the brand as a thought leader.

  • Develop a comprehensive three-year fundraising strategy with targets by segment (HNIs/Family Offices, Corporate/CSR, Foundations, Digital) and by program (Ignite, Impact, Inspire).
  • Oversee the entire donor lifecycle: research - qualification - cultivation - solicitation - stewardship - renewal/upgrade.
  • Create multi-year giving vehicles (anchor gifts, challenge funds, catalytic grants, cause marketing, events, peer-to-peer).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and high-influence networks in India and abroad.
  • Represent the organization with credibility, building trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Manage investment-grade proposals, decks, impact reports; ensure crisp narratives and strong evidence.
  • Establish clear SOPs, approval matrices, and data hygiene.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian and international requirements.

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years of direct fundraising experience with a proven major-gifts and institutional track record.
  • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives (research, education, skill development, community empowerment preferred).
  • Strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
  • Regulatory fluency and governance sensibility.
  • Excellent written/oral communication.
