HVAC Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to join our Sales team on a remote basis.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in automation or HVAC-related estimation and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate project specifications and technical requirements to understand client needs and objectives.
• Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies to determine suitable solutions for control systems integration with HVAC systems, DDC systems, and PLCs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems using industry knowledge, past project data, and estimation software tools.
• Cross-functionally coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure estimation inputs align with execution strategy and project timelines.
• Develop proposals, bids, and tender documents by providing accurate cost estimates and technical insights.
• Engage with clients, contractors, and vendors to address inquiries, clarify technical details, and negotiate terms related to cost estimates and project requirements.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize adverse impacts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in automation or HVAC-related estimation.
• Familiarity with cost estimation, document formatting, proposal drafting, RFQ analysis, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
