
Travel Coordinator

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our travel management team in the role of Travel Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of domestic and international employee travel, ensuring seamless support from booking to departure.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate end-to-end travel arrangements for employees, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and visa processing for both domestic and international travel.
- Develop and manage travel itineraries in line with company policies and budget guidelines.
- Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and travel agencies to secure the best rates and services.
- Provide timely and accurate travel information and assistance to employees before, during, and after their trips.
- Process travel requests, obtain necessary approvals, and manage expense reconciliation related to travel.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all travel bookings, expenditures, and employee travel profiles.
- Address and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise (e.g., flight delays, cancellations, re-bookings).
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures, as well as relevant visa and immigration regulations.
- Generate regular reports on travel expenses, cost savings, and travel patterns.
- Proven experience as a Travel Coordinator or similar role, with exposure to both domestic and international travel.
- Strong knowledge of travel booking platforms, GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is highly preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, vendors, and stakeholders globally.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
The successful candidate will possess up-to-date knowledge of the latest travel trends, tools, and best practices. This includes staying informed about industry developments, airline partnerships, and hotel offerings to provide expert advice to employees.
Excellent Communication SkillsAs a key point of contact for employees, excellent communication skills are essential for providing timely and accurate information, resolving travel-related issues, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
