Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all quality standards are met in the fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with PEB standards.
  • Carry out dimensional inspection of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
  • Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials.
  • Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IS/ASTM/AISC/MBMA standards and client specifications.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control in PEB / Steel Structure fabrication industry.
  • Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes for PEB structures.
  • Skill in welding processes (SMAW, SAW, MIG, etc.).
  • Understanding of painting and coating standards.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
