Architectural Fiberglass Specialist Position:

We are seeking an Architectural Fiberglass Specialist to join our team. This role involves the design, engineering, and fabrication of innovative building materials using architectural fiberglass.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes and industry standards, as well as proficiency in BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create parametric families for company products using Revit software.
  • Complete attachment and detail markups for architectural fiberglass products.
  • Translate less specific design direction into functional documents.
  • Model various types of cladding systems, including columns, cupolas, cornices, domes, balustrades, entryways, and more.
  • Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure seamless integration of all building systems.
  • Generate accurate construction documents and drawings from BIM models.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date BIM documentation system.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
  • Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Well-versed with American codes & standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bluebeam review of drawings.

  • Relevant degree in Architecture field.
