Senior Accountant Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations, including preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements

  • Maintain general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records

  • Resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial regulations

  • Supervise and lead a team of accountants, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes

  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards

  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus

What We Offer:

This is a full-time role with immediate joining at our location. The position involves managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. While based in Ahmedabad, some work from home is acceptable.

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is also an advantage.

  2. At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience is necessary, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  3. Expertise in accounting software, MS Office applications, and other tools relevant to the job is required.

  4. Superb analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and leadership abilities, are vital for success in this role.
