Job Title: Compliance Lead

As a senior leader in our organization, you will spearhead the development of our compliance content strategy and lead a team of compliance developers. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, driving the research, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade compliance benchmarks and automation solutions across multiple regulatory frameworks.

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 compliance content developers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.
  • Develop compliance strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market demands to drive growth and innovation.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of compliance initiatives.
  • Establish quality standards and best practices for compliance content development to ensure consistency and excellence across all deliverables.
  • Research and architect advanced compliance frameworks for emerging standards (NIST 2.0, HIPAA, CIS, STIG, PCI-DSS) to stay ahead of the curve and address evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Design and oversee the development of complex remediation automation scripts and SCAP content to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Lead technical reviews and ensure deliverable quality across all compliance benchmarks to maintain the highest level of accuracy and reliability.
  • Drive automation initiatives using Python, PowerShell, and infrastructure-as-code tools to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Champion the adoption of DevSecOps practices in compliance content development to ensure security, compliance, and quality are integrated into every stage of the process.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level knowledge across multiple frameworks: NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, STIG, GDPR, SOX, FedRAMP to provide strategic guidance and support.
  • Deep understanding of SCAP standards (OVAL, XCCDF, CPE, CVE, CCE) to develop effective compliance solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in compliance automation tools and vulnerability management platforms to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Stay current with evolving regulatory landscapes and emerging security standards to anticipate and address potential risks.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies to drive collaboration and deliver results.
  • Executive communication skills for stakeholder management to build trust and ensure alignment.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions to drive growth and innovation.
