Cloud Systems Administrator

As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, automating, and supporting Linux systems and services in a 24/7 production environment. You will work independently and collaboratively to evaluate, recommend, and implement technical solutions to meet business needs.

  • Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems and security patching.
  • Experience with installing, monitoring, and administering Linux systems (Ubuntu and RHEL primarily).
  • One or more Linux System Administrator Certifications.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Programming/Scripting skills in Shell/Python.
  • Basic Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, subnetting, and routing.
  • Knowledge of networking for virtual machines, particularly regarding security and performance.
  • Knowledge of remote desktop software solutions such as VNC, Citrix Xen server, and VDI.
  • Solid knowledge of infrastructure services like Kickstart, NFS, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Knowledge in Azure resources like VM, Network, NSG, and Blob Storage is a plus.

By working as a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will contribute to the overall reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. You will enhance customer satisfaction by resolving technical issues promptly and effectively. You will also ensure the security and integrity of our systems through vigilant monitoring and maintenance.
