Job Title: Application Deployment Architect

We are seeking an experienced Application Deployment Architect to join our team at Unisys India Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of application deployment architecture and be able to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement application deployment architectures
  • Develop logical and physical architecture for applications
  • Scale infrastructure through both horizontal and vertical scaling
  • Manage various tiers of architecture, including UI, middle layer, and backend
  • Ensure performance and security standards are met for the architecture
  • Implement hosted models on-premises
  • Work with Linux, ESX OS, Windows OS, and OS2200 platforms
  • Use JBoss as the application server
  • Manage databases including MS SQL and Oracle
  • Configure and manage F5 load balancers
  • Utilize Tomcat Apache web server and IBM MQ
  • Conduct performance testing using Dynatrace
  • Perform security vulnerability assessments using Invicti, IBM AppScan, and SonarQube
  • Remediate security vulnerabilities
  • Document deployment procedures and create comprehensive deployment guides
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application deployment
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in deployment best practices
  • Participate in audits when required
Required Skills:
  • Expertise in application deployment architecture
  • Strong understanding of logical and physical architecture design
  • Experience with scaling infrastructure both horizontally and vertically
  • Knowledge of various architecture tiers including UI, middle layer, and backend
  • Proficiency in performance and security concepts for architecture
  • Experience with hosted models on-premises
