We are searching for a highly technical architect with a strong background in HRSD and ITSM to join a team as a Service Now Business Applications Architect.
In this pivotal role, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing complex Service Now solutions, and will be able to provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
Qualification Profile: A successful university degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) is highly preferred.
Extensive experience with Service Now development and configuration, ideally with a background as a Service Now developer or architect.
In-depth knowledge of Service Now architecture, core functionalities, and non-IT modules beyond the ITSM module (e.g., Platform, App Engine, HRSD, IRM, CSM, SPM, licensing).
This includes strong expertise in Service Now App Engine, Service Now Employee Centre, building complex workflows and processes, data modelling and manipulation, API integration, and scripting languages (Java Script, UI Actions).
Service Now certification is a prerequisite (CSA, CAD, CIS, CMA, CTA).
Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying Service Now customisations and integrations.
Experience working within Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Confluence, Jira).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a focus on technical articulation.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Service Now Architect, with a focus on HRSD and ITSM modules.
Strong technical skills, including Java Script, Web Services, and Service Now development best practices.
In-depth knowledge of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
Proven track record of delivering successful Service Now projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities: Solution Architecture: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end Service Now solutions that align with business objectives and processes, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the effective implementation of Service Now solutions.
HRSD & ITSM Expertise: Demonstrate deep expertise in Service Now HRSD and ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Performance Analytics, and Service Catalog.
Development: Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and on-time delivery.
Integration: Design and implement integrations between Service Now and other enterprise systems, such as Workday, SAP, and UIPath.
Troubleshooting: Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to the Service Now platform.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business partners and technical teams.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Security: Ensure that Service Now solutions adhere to security best practices and comply with organisational standards.
Team Development: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
