Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing Customs Trade HTS & ECCN Classification determinations for spare parts and other products, as well as assisting in compliance data collection and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Customs Trade HTS & ECCN Classification determinations for spare parts and other products.
  • Assist in compliance data collection and record keeping.
  • Support compliance training and audit activities.
  • Generate and analyze compliance reports.
  • Participate in root cause analysis of international trade issues and recommend solutions.
  • Support Customs inquiries related to classifications of products.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of advanced technology and processes involved in Semiconductor, Flat Panel, Solar cell manufacturing (SEMI, Nanomanufacturing).
  • Knowledge of import and/or export trade compliance elements, including Harmonized Tariff Schedules, Export Classification Commodity Numbers, Customs entry process, Customs invoicing requirements, special trade program requirements, etc.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to conduct classification analysis to arrive at an accurate HTS and ECCN Classification, using various trade tools such as GRIs, CROSS rulings, WCO explanatory notes, and Export Regulations & other Classification Tools.
