Workday Functional Consultant Position Overview

The Workday Functional Consultant role is a critical position in our organization, responsible for planning and prioritizing work, assisting leads in all phases of delivery lifecycle, and reporting status/impediments with the greater project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex configurations for clients and leads, manage data transformation, and perform EIB Data loads.
  • Provide go-live assistance and ongoing support.
  • Lead and involve in data conversion activities pertaining to Absence/ Time Tracking/ Benefits/ HCM/ Compensation/ Recruiting/ Talent and Performance / Payroll.
  • Coordinate with leads, EM/PM, and clients for project delivery.
  • Multitask and engage on multiple projects at a time for lead activities.
  • End-to-end ownership of assigned projects.
  • Provide leadership and key stakeholders with information and venues to make effective, timely decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent technical & functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering complex solutions across client implementations.
  • Thorough Absence/ Time Tracking/ Benefits/ HCM/ Compensation/ Recruiting/ Talent and Performance / Payroll configuration build knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday modules - Absence/ Time Tracking/ Benefits/ HCM/ Compensation/ Recruiting/ Talent and Performance / Payroll.
  • Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.
  • Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.
  • Ability to train users in a classroom setting.
  • Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Workday and overall 12 years' experience is minimum.

Education Requirement:

  • B.E /B.Tech /MCA /BSc.
