Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee the company's financial strategy, controls, and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Reporting: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the organization.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage regulatory reporting requirements across jurisdictions, including VASP, FIU, central bank, and tax authorities.
  • Internal Controls: Develop, oversee, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes aligned with crypto asset flows.
  • Audit Management: Manage periodic audits—statutory, internal, regulatory—and act as the primary point of contact for auditors.
  • Compliance & Risk: Collaborate with compliance and legal teams on AML, KYC, tax, and regulatory filings. Evaluate financial and operational risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Treasury Operations: Lead treasury operations, including liquidity management, crypto wallet oversight, exchange accounts, and banking relationships.
  • Payroll & Vendor Payments: Oversee payroll, vendor payments, revenue recognition, and financial operations.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team and board to support decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Finance Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in fintech or payments companies.
  • Crypto Knowledge: Fair understanding of crypto markets, blockchain transactions, digital asset accounting, and custody mechanisms is highly desirable.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Comprehensive grasp of regulatory reporting frameworks applicable to Fintech firms (e.g., VASP, FATF guidelines, FIU reports).
  • Leadership Skills: Hands-on leadership style, with proven comfort operating within startups or scale-ups with limited resources.
  • Professional Certifications: CA / CPA/ ACCA certification is preferred.
