Oracle Database Administration Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to oversee the management and maintenance of our mission-critical Oracle databases in a production environment.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Database Installation and Configuration: Design, implement, and manage complex database systems using Oracle databases.
  2. Backup and Recovery: Implement robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure minimal downtime in case of data loss or corruption.
  3. High Availability Solutions: Design and implement high availability solutions for Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  4. Database Security: Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols to safeguard Oracle databases against unauthorized access.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor database performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize database configurations accordingly.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts, architecture, and functionality.
  • Ability to design, implement, and manage complex database systems.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
