Job Title:

BIM Modeler

Department:

Mechanical Engineering

Objective of the Role:

To create high-quality Revit models, detailing, and coordination for Mechanical services on international projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in BIM workflows, tools, clash coordination, and collaborative platforms.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

Autodesk Revit MEP - Advanced modeling, detailing, and annotation skills.

Autodesk Navisworks - Clash detection, coordination review, and report generation.

Collaboration Tools:

Experience with one or more: BIM Track, Revizto, Bluebeam.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Modeling and Detailing:
    • Revit-based modeling of Mechanical Duct & Pipe services.
    • Creation of Mechanical Revit Families.
    • Preparation of RCP layouts, shaft coordination drawings, section details (Pump Room & Mechanical rooms).
    • Production of Builder's Work Drawings (BW) including slab, core wall openings.
  • Project Coordination & Clash Management:
    • Participation in clash coordination for Architectural, Structural, and MEPF trades.
    • Use of Navisworks/BIM Track/Revizto/BIM 360 for clash resolution and tracking.
    • Coordination with other trades and disciplines for integrated design delivery.
  • Documentation & Deliverables:
    • Development of Mechanical drawings and documentation across project phases.
    • Preparation of fabrication models, spool drawings, and shop drawings.
    • Performance of QA/QC checks for models, families, and drawings.
    • Creation and management of parametric Revit families.
  • Quantity Take-off & BOQ:
    • Performance of BIM-based quantity take-offs for Mechanical items and services.
    • Support in the preparation of BOQs and procurement documentation.
  • Support Modeling Tasks:
    • Modeling of Mechanical equipment supports and hanger details.
    • Ensuring Revit interface best practices (views, browser setup, filters, schedules, etc.).

Requirements:

1 to 4 years of experience in BIM Modeling (Mechanical)

Must have worked on international projects (US/UK/Middle East/APAC etc.)
