We are seeking experienced researchers to collaborate in refining and assessing large language models (LLMs). Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the ability of LLMs to understand and solve intricate math problems, such as multi-step algebra or logic questions.

This role is designed to identify model vulnerabilities and improve training and evaluation workflows. You may be tasked with determining the number of real symmetric matrices of rank 2 whose entries are only 0 or 1, identifying subsets of a set with specific characteristics, or counting distinct numbers with certain properties.

Candidates should possess a PhD/Postdoc in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Strong analytical skills, clarity in explaining complex topics, research independence, and access to a reliable computer and internet setup are also essential.

This position is open to candidates who have completed or are currently pursuing a Ph.D.; applications that do not meet this criterion will not be considered.

  • Determine the number of real 5×55 ×55×5 symmetric matrices of rank 2 whose entries are only 0 or 1.
