Job Description

An Audit Manager is responsible for leading engagement teams on planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations to deliver exceptional client service. They oversee day-to-day operations, provide supervision and support to team members, and collaborate with partners on client issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits, reviews or compilations to meet client deadlines
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, planning, risk assessment and financial reporting
  • Provide supervision and support to team members, seniors and supervisors
  • Collaborate with partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for legal, regulatory and accounting issues
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently to efficiently meet client needs

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's; CPA preferred
  • At least 7-10 years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff
  • Excellent analytical, technical and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client/internal relationships
  • Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
