This role requires a professional with exceptional leadership skills, able to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders and teams. The Team Lead will provide strategic direction and technical expertise to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Holding overall responsibility for project advisory packages and ensuring timely delivery
  • Leading personnel assignments within budget and coordinating project communications with key partners and stakeholders
  • Providing technical leadership and engaging in stakeholder consultations, workshops, and meetings
  • Offering technical backstopping to field assessment and planning teams and preparing regular progress reports
  • Ensuring compliance with project guidelines, milestones, and contractual requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Masters degree in Environmental Policy, Economics, Forestry, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi (B2 level)
  • 12 years of experience in sustainability and natural resources management, 8 years in business development, value chain promotion, and market linkages, 5 years of management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager
