Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an efficient Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance Department.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility will be handling the entire accounts payable process, including reconciling the accounts payable ledger, sending payment requests, and analyzing bank statements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Explain and assist vendors and stakeholders with the accounts payable process.
  2. Reconcile vendor ledger with company books.
  3. Send payment requests to Finance on a timely basis.
  4. Analyze bank statements and discrepancies in payment processes.
  5. Generate and approve vendor invoices.
  6. Resolve vendor payment queries.
  7. Prepare payment record documents for audits.

Requirements:

  • B.Com, MCOM, or CA Inter preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Advance Excel.
  • Complete knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and laws governing the accounting field.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented individual.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
