Job Description:

The role of Telecom IT Architect Lead is a critical position that involves designing and consulting on Telecom end-to-end IT architectures/solutions/data across OSS (Operations Support Systems) domains for large-scale global telecom operators offering B2B enterprise services/solutions.

This position requires a highly skilled professional with 15+ years of experience in the IT/Telecommunication industry, with at least 9 years focused on IT, Telecom design, and OSS architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Migration Projects: Design and implement large data migration projects, with a strong emphasis on the Telecom industry.
  • Resource Inventory Management: Manage resource/service inventory migration in Telecom OSS domains effectively.
  • Data Modeling: Utilize extensive experience in data modeling for resource/service products and databases, including platforms/tools such as Granite XNG and Amdocs Network Inventory.
  • Cloud Solutions: Apply cloud solutions knowledge to OSS and IT transformation programs.
  • OSS Sub-Domains: Understand OSS sub-domains including Ordering, Workflows, Orchestration, Fulfillment, Fault Management, Performance Management, ETL, etc.
  • Data Governance: Develop and implement a robust Data Governance framework, policies, and models for service/resource inventory domains.
  • Business Understanding: Demonstrate a strong business understanding of telecom services and products including voice, data services, SDN, NFV, Broadband services, SMS, VPN services, and Telecom networks.
  • Industry Best Practices: Follow industry best practices and Telecom/Data Governance best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to produce technology and business artifacts, and reusable IT resources.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively in a dynamic, agile, and multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; M-Tech (Optional); OSS certifications (Preferable).
  • Telecom and IT architecture certifications such as TOGAF, TM Forum SID, eTOM, TAM, Cloud frameworks, SDN/NFV, Telco WAN Optimization, ITIL, etc.
  • IT Project Management certifications are a plus.
