Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Runtimes Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in the industrial automation sector. This position focuses on ensuring the security and reliability of our runtime codebase.

  2. Work closely with the Runtimes Security Advisor/Coach to guarantee each release of our runtime SDK adheres to industry standards, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements.
  3. Collaborate with members across the globe (India, Europe, and U.S.) to share best practices, coding standards, and secure development methodologies.

  • Provide cybersecurity guidance and mentorship through architecting, designing, and threat modeling for members during the development cycle.
  • Conduct regular static and dynamic code analysis using tools like Coverity, SQuORE, Halgrind, Valgrind, CppCheck, Black Duck Binary Analysis, and Black Duck Hub.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related discipline.
  • 8-12 years' experience in developing code for multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows.
  • Seasoned programming skills with object-oriented design (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Expertise in cybersecurity issues common to C/C++ and knowledge of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures.
  • Familiarity with Open-source software (OSS), Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu.
  • Familiarity with Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Static Code Analysis, and Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Fuzz testing.
