Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Firmware Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge Sensors and Edge devices.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with expertise in embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and firmware development.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing firmware for IoT devices, ensuring seamless integration and robust performance in diverse operational environments.

Key deliverables include developing cutting-edge solutions for Serial, I2C, SPI, and Ethernet hardware modules, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in an Agile firmware development environment to deliver high-quality solutions that meet technical requirements.
  • Expert-level in modern C/C++ coding skills, including memory management, data structures, algorithms, and networking.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and practices, applied to firmware development.
  • Ability to read and understand advanced technical documentation and data, and partner with cross-functional teams to share innovative ideas and improve development processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and firmware issues, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in firmware development using C, preferably with Nordic Connect (Zephyr RTOS) and Nordic SDK.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in embedded systems, including memory management, data structures, algorithms, and networking.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on embedded systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
