Job Title: Spatial Design ProfessionalSpatial Designers at our organization drive innovation in user experience, crafting interfaces that propel adoption and retention.About This Role

We're seeking a talented Spatial Designer to join our team. As a key contributor, you will lead design strategy and user experience for KhetPe, an AgTech platform.

Responsibilities
  1. Own the design strategy and quarterly UX roadmap aligned with business goals.
  2. Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro.
  3. Define and maintain design systems, UI patterns, and style guides for visual and functional consistency.
  4. Partner with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.
  5. Conduct end-to-end user research, including interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing with farmers, FPOs, and partners.
  6. Champion UX for rural contexts, incorporating vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues.
  7. Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfect handoff, clarity on design specifications, and smooth implementation.
  8. Run design experiments (A/B testing, prototypes) and analyze outcomes to optimize key funnels (onboarding, engagement, transactions).
  9. Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, data privacy guidelines, and local regulations in all user interfaces.
  10. Prepare demos, storyboards, and training material for cross-functional launches with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  11. Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor interfaces, and evolving UX best practices to keep KhetPe ahead.
  12. Report weekly on design progress, open issues, and risks; ensure alignment with Product and Engineering teams.
Requirements
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in spatial design, with a focus on UX.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Miro, and other design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and design thinking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
