Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Database Administrator to join our team and lead database administration activities, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery of our systems.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong knowledge of MS SQL Server Administration, particularly version 2022 V11, and a proven track record of implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing regular database maintenance activities, including data loads, schema updates, database copies, software installs, upgrades, and patches.

  • Ensure optimal database performance by running daily checks and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize query performance and refine database schemas.
  • Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of database concepts, performance tuning, security, and proactive monitoring techniques.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve database performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with operating system scripting and clustering.
  • Knowledge of MongoDB/PostgreSQL and other database technologies.
