We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to lead and manage our diverse database environments, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in schema design, query optimization, and overall database performance tuning. You will play a key role in ensuring database reliability, scalability, and security across multiple systems.

Responsibilities :

- Design, manage, and optimize schemas across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB databases.

- Lead performance tuning and query optimization initiatives to improve system efficiency.

- Monitor database health, availability, and reliability across production and staging environments.

- Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to support deployment and scaling efforts.

- Create and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.

- Perform root cause analysis on database-related issues and propose effective solutions.

- Implement database best practices, security policies, and compliance requirements.

- Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical leadership within the team.

Requirements :

- 7-8 years of experience as a DBA, working across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Strong hands-on experience in query optimization, indexing, and schema management.

- Proficient in writing stored procedures, triggers, and complex SQL queries.

- Solid understanding of database security, high availability, and failover strategies.

- Experience with monitoring tools like pgAdmin, MySQL Workbench, MongoDB Compass, etc.

- Familiarity with cloud-based databases and CI/CD workflows is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Proactive approach to performance tuning and system improvement.
