Job Description

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective relationship management with customers in the Agri sector.

The ideal candidate will have strong sales and influencing skills, with the ability to understand the needs of farmers and provide them with tailored solutions.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including Credit, Branch Banking Operations, Farmers, Agro Centres/ Rural mandis and Senior Leaders from Product/Sales.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Acquisition, enhancement, and retention of customers by providing best possible services and being the dedicated point of contact for customers of the Agri sector.
  • Sourcing and Business Generation: Identifying new business opportunities, sourcing proposals from individual farmers, cooperative societies, rural markets, Kissan Clubs, Farmer Producer Organizations, etc.
  • Conducting marketing activities for generating new business, working on productivity benchmarks, market updates, and change in product/process requirements, competition, and customer behavior.
  • Building relationships with new and existing customers, maintaining and deepening existing relationships through regular interactions with agro centers, rural mandis, rural markets, Kisan clubs.
  • Addressing complaints received from customers within stipulated TAT, delinquency rotation & recovery, and housekeeping.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Graduation (preferably Agri Business) or Post-Graduation MBA (preferably Agri Business).

Strong sales and influencing skills, banking product & process knowledge, planning and organizing skills, communication, and knowledge of competition & current trends in the financial industry.
