Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to provide managed services to clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems to restore service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively monitors work queues and performs operational tasks to resolve incidents/requests in a timely manner.
  • Updates tickets with resolution tasks performed and identifies root causes of incidents and problems.
  • Communicates with other teams and clients to extend support and executes changes with clear identification of risks and mitigation plans.
  • Follows shift handover process highlighting key tickets and upcoming critical tasks.
  • Escalates tickets to seek focus from CoE and other teams if needed.
  • Works with automation teams to optimize effort and automate routine tasks.
  • Identifies problems and errors before they impact client service and provides assistance to L1 Security Engineers.
  • Leads initial client escalation for operational issues and contributes to change management process by logging all change requests.
  • Audits incident and request tickets for quality and recommends improvements with updates to knowledge articles.
  • Produces trend analysis reports for identifying tasks for automation and reduction in tickets.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with moderate level years of relevant managed services experience handling cross technology infrastructure. Strong knowledge of ticketing tools and ITIL processes is also required.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, ability to plan activities well in advance, and maintain a positive outlook at work.
