Senior Pipeline Stress Engineer

Overview:

  • Perform comprehensive stress analysis of complex pipeline systems using state-of-the-art software and design pipe supports for above-ground and underground installations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct thorough data collection to identify critical factors affecting pipeline stress analysis at various stages.
  • Analyze surge forces on metallic and non-metallic pipes using advanced PIPENET software and determine their impact on overall system performance.
  • Extract and apply surge force calculations to stress analysis, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Develop and implement effective surge analysis strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of pipeline stress analysis into broader project plans.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in industry standards and best practices, including ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and ISO 14692.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain critical information and materials required for pipeline stress analysis.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
