Procurement Strategist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Procurement Strategist to lead our indirect procurement processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver cost savings and value to the organization.
  2. Manage end-to-end procurement processes for indirect categories such as IT, office supplies, consulting services, facilities, human resources, and marketing.
  3. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements with vendors to ensure optimal terms.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements.
  5. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, service, or delivery.
  6. Identify opportunities to optimize the supplier base and reduce procurement risk.
  7. Collaborate with finance and legal teams on budget alignment and contract terms to drive business results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement management with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to drive business outcomes.
