Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud data solutions that meet business requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Azure data architecture that integrates multiple sources using various tools and technologies
  • Migrate legacy SSIS packages to the Azure cloud using services such as Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Function App, and ADLS
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using various tools and technologies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architecture
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT data and cloud engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure deployments, administration, and migrations
  • Experience with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Spark
  • Skilled in building and optimizing pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analysis of large datasets
  • Experience in migrating on-premises workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate, ASR, Data Factory, and Azure Database Migration Service
  • Proficient in SQL, ETL/ELT development, and data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, and security best practices
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and automation tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps methods
