Backend Developer

We are seeking a seasoned backend professional to join our team. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable backend services that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust backend applications and RESTful APIs using Go, leveraging its strengths to create efficient and maintainable code.
  • Design and implement microservices, container-first architecture, and service-oriented design principles to ensure scalability and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with the development team to write clean, tested, and well-documented code, utilizing unit testing, debugging, and API documentation best practices.
  • Work closely with the database team to design and implement databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
  • Ensure seamless deployment of services to Kubernetes environments using Docker containerization.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
Bonus Skills:
  • Experience working with Google BigQuery and writing Go-based logic for BQ interactions.
  • Familiarity with AWS Athena, AWS Step Functions, or similar data orchestration tools.
  • Expertise in GKE provisioning, deployment configurations, and workload management.
  • Knowledge of federated query engines like Trino, Presto, or similar systems.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, Data, DevOps).
  • Self-motivation and adaptability in a dynamic startup environment with distributed teams.
  • Understanding of data privacy, security-conscious design, and compliance requirements.
