Job Opportunity:

The Planning and Strategy Director plays a vital role in creating and executing innovative campaigns for clients. To excel in this position, one must have an expert understanding of social platforms, leveraging them as broadcast media or narrowcast to design engaging experiences through insights, technologies, and expertise.

With a constant test and learn approach, the candidate will work closely with the client servicing team to continuously improve the thinking, direction of the strategy, and recommended programs and tactics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct deep analysis of Category, Competition, Consumer, Culture, and Brand to develop unique and differentiated insights.
  • Create an integrated strategy platform for campaigns/pitches that serve as an ideal springboard for creative teams.
  • Prepare and present visual presentations with sharp points of view and riveting narratives.
  • Translate business objectives into social/digital media objectives, enriched by proprietary benchmarks.
  • Analyze available insights and define overall strategy in terms of Distribution and Amplification.
  • Define the right advertising pressure to achieve goals, taking into consideration objectives, challenges, and limitations.
  • Participate actively in new business pitches as required.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate with 7 years of experience in brand planning, social, and/or digital campaign management, digital creative strategy.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect business requirements to strategy solutions.
  • Research and data analytical skills, with the ability to generate data-based insights to weave into the strategy process.
  • Passionate about fast-evolving social/digital media environments with a strong point of view to share with clients and colleagues.
  • Eye for innovation and emerging platforms or partners to consider as part of a brand, social, digital strategy.
  • Ability to work effectively, proactively, and seamlessly with integrated teams.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
