Job Summary

A payroll trainee plays a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees. The position involves reviewing timesheets, processing payroll data, and maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify hours worked, leave taken, and overtime for accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage the payroll department's mailbox, responding to queries, and organizing incoming documents.
  • Double-check data entries for inconsistencies or errors, ensuring all payroll data is accurate before processing.
  • Maintain flawless records by accurately saving timesheets and updating Excel trackers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar corporate role.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data, identify inconsistencies, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Precision in reviewing data, spotting errors, and ensuring that all records are accurate and compliant with regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, respond to queries, and document processes clearly and professionally.
