Senior ICT and Telecommunications Specialist

We are seeking an experienced ICT & Telecommunications professional to join our growing Technology Systems team.
- Responsibilities include the development and publication of telecommunications designs for various clients across sectors including Healthcare, Commercial/Mixed Use Developments, Data Centres, Aviation, and Transport & Infrastructure.
- Detailed designs will be required for Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), Communications Rooms, Outside Plant Infrastructure (OSP), Active ICT Networks, Wireless LAN and Wi-Fi modelling, RF Systems, and Technology platforms and systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings to enable the tendering of works. They will also mentor junior and graduate engineers and work within a multi-discipline design team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in ICT and Telecommunications design utilising standards such as BICSI, ISO, IEEE, Certified Wireless Network Professional Design Guidelines, Cisco & Aruba networking and wireless design guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Master's degree in electronic, computer systems or telecommunications, or Master's degree in Information Technology (Networks).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Prior experience in mentoring is preferred.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status in a relevant engineering discipline is desired.
- Significant experience in leading, producing and checking ICT and Telecommunications designs.
- Underpinning knowledge of Network design principles and experience working in critical environments.
