Project Coordinator Job Description

Schedule Management Specialist needed to ensure project delivery on time.

  • Assists the Project Manager in bids and proposals, budget preparation, schedule development, and other tasks assigned.
  • Creates, updates schedules in MS Project or Primavera P6 based on the scheduling tool used.
  • Ensures data accuracy through integrity checks and auditing for reliable schedule reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and maintains project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Supports the Project Manager in preparing budgets, schedules, and other project materials.
  • Performs quality assurance checks on schedule reports to guarantee accuracy.
Trend Analysis and Performance Improvement:
  • Analyzes project trends over its lifecycle to identify performance improvements.
  • Identifies areas for enhancement and those performing well.
Change Management:
  • Evaluates impacts of changes on the baseline plan and forecasted dates within the scheduling tool.
  • Reviews potential effects on project milestones and develops recovery plans to minimize delays.
Communication and Team Collaboration:
  • Participates in meetings, prepares meeting agendas, takes minutes, and tracks follow-up actions.
  • Collaborates with project teams, construction teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to collect progress data.
Requirements:
  • Over five years of experience in project scheduling for construction projects.
  • University degree or diploma in Engineering or Business Administration, or equivalent education and industry experience.
  • Expert in using Primavera P6 (mandatory).
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Project.
