Counselling Manager - Undergraduate Admissions

As a Counselling Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping student journeys from initial counseling roadmaps to university acceptances.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be adept at managing multiple priorities, and demonstrate a passion for supporting students through the complex process of undergraduate admissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and support students throughout the entire undergraduate admissions process, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and a smooth experience.
  • Guide students in developing strong academic and extracurricular profiles, including research, internships, competitions, and community impact projects.
  • Strategize personalized student journeys by advising on subject selection, standardized testing, university shortlisting, and long-term academic planning.
  • Review and provide detailed feedback on all application components, including personal statements, SOPs, LORs, essays, resumes, and forms.
  • Provide direct mentorship and guidance to resolve complex student cases, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of counselors, ensuring consistency, timely communication, and adherence to admissions timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align strategy and execution for each student.
  • Organize internal trainings, case reviews, and brainstorming sessions to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Provide expert guidance on U.S., U.K., and Canadian admissions platforms.
  • Advise families on academic equivalencies, scholarship opportunities, interview preparation, and offer comparisons.
  • Maintain clear communication with students and parents, providing regular progress updates and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Track and document student milestones to ensure timely completion of deliverables and a smooth admissions process.
