Job Description:

As a Data Warehouse Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing robust data transformation processes using Snowflake. This includes implementing complex queries and data transformations utilizing SQL scripting.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to understanding data requirements and delivering solutions that meet the business needs of our organization. You will develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.

In addition, you will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows, ensuring seamless data transfer and integration across all solutions.

With extensive experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence, you will lead or participate in data migration projects, ensuring a seamless transition and integration of data from legacy systems to our modern architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data transformation processes using Snowflake.
  • Utilize SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows.
  • Lead or participate in data migration projects, ensuring seamless data transfer and integration.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Snowflake and data transformation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes.
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
