About the Role

Position Title: Corporate Credit Analyst

Corporate Title: Manager

Job Profile:

Purpose of Role:

  • To manage the credit analysis function for corporate clients globally.
  • The team works closely with bankers, product partners, and approvers to promote optimal risk/return on lending opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertake detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry.
  • End-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per our credit processes and procedures.
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio.
  • Support Relationship Managers/Senior Credit Analysts in ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive experience in corporate finance gained in either a bank, asset manager, or rating agency environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA/CFA/MBA Finance).

Functional/Technical Competencies:

  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • Good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg/CapIQ and similar systems.
