Job Overview:

A top performer in the field of Plant Finance and Accounts should lead a plant's financial operations, encompassing strategic planning, budgeting, accounting, internal controls, and compliance with local and international regulations and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leverage data to drive business decisions and optimize financial operations, enhance cost efficiency, and provide actionable insights for plant costs and variances to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and oversee the financial planning process to drive strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the preparation of timely and insightful financial reports for management.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, corporate policies, and internal SOPs.
  • Serve as a finance business partner to the Plant Head, providing expert financial guidance and support for improving plant performance and achieving operational goals.
  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team within the plant, fostering adherence to standards and high performance.
  • Identify and manage financial risks and act as a custodian of the organization's risk register.
  • Coordinate with auditors, manage audit processes, and provide financial information and insights to senior management, stakeholders, and the plant head.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant and very proficient in SAP/HANA 4.0 or above with a minimum of 18 years of experience in managing large plant finance & accounting.
