**Job Opportunity:** Data Architect

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Architect. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, architecture design, and governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Scalable Data Systems: Utilizing Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse.
  • Develop ETL/ELT Solutions: Using PySpark, T-SQL, and Spark Notebooks within Fabric and Azure Synapse.
  • Manage and Optimize Data Storage: In OneLake supporting Lakehouse and Warehouse use cases.
  • Implement and Manage Azure Key Vault: For secure handling of secrets, credentials, and connection strings.
  • Configure and Manage CI/CD Pipelines: For Data engineering projects using Azure Devops, including automated deployment of Fabric assets.
  • Integrate Data from Diverse Sources: Including SQL server, Azure Blob, REST API's, and on-prem systems.
  • Collaborate with Business Teams: And PowerBI developers to ensure data models support reporting and self-service needs.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Data System Performance: Data quality and failure recovery.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data systems, developing ETL/ELT solutions, managing and optimizing data storage, implementing and managing Azure Key Vault, configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines, integrating data from diverse sources, collaborating with business teams, and monitoring and troubleshooting data system performance.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse.
  • Strong skills in data engineering, architecture design, and governance processes.
  • Ability to integrate data from diverse sources.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with Azure Devops and CI/CD pipelines.
